Sci-Tron Limited are pleased to announce that Dr Adam Parry has joined the team in the role of Product Development Scientist, an appointment made to extend capacity as a result of increased interest in Sci-Tron’s advanced resist product families and technologies.
An alumni from the University of Manchester with an MPhys Physics, Adam completed his PhD working in the field of Organic Electronics where he specialised in device design, manufacture and characterisation.
Adam also brings extensive experience of working with 2D materials, in particular working on formulation for additive manufacture and sub-micron inkjet printing.
“Initially my focus will be on the characterisation and optimisation of Sci-Tron’s portfolio of state-of-the-art e-beam and photolithographic resists, based at our facilities here in Manchester.” Comments Adam.
“Having the chance to join Sci-Tron at this point in time is something I am incredibly excited by. Seeing the development of the portfolio of advanced resists and now being part of the next chapter for Sci-Tron is an opportunity I am delighted to grasp.”
Adam’s commercial experience includes relationship management between the University and Sony Europe, BAE Systems and Hero Cycles, India’s largest bicycle company, along with collaboration placements for SMEs working on materials characterisation in collaboration with the National Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre and the Sir Henry Royce Institute for Advanced Materials, Research and Innovation in Manchester.
More recently, Adam was involved between academia and industry, instrumental in establishing R&D projects with industrial partners.
Dr Scott Lewis, Director & Senior Technical Advisor at Sci-Tron Limited: “Bringing Adam on-board is a great addition for Sci-Tron, given that his experience extends beyond the laboratory. He has worked in a business development capacity, helping implement strategic and operational plans for the University’s engagement with industry.”
“This combination of research, development and commerciality underlines what a great asset we expect him to become in supporting Sci-Tron’s continued growth.”
